OriginDuring the Fall 2013 semester at RPI, the RPI Game Development Club started the yearly "club game" project in which members could pitch ideas and form groups to make a game in time for the club's Rensselaer Game Showcase (RGS). "Duel Major" was originally scoped as a simplified version of the Smash Bros. games to get help us learn how to use make 3D games. Since RGS, the game's scope has expanded and our team has gained more experience.

Reflection"Duel Major" is a game I am very excited to be working on simply because I had fun playing it. Discussing the game's functionality and developing the characters has been very eye opening and educational into fighting games. Although this game was conceived with the Smash Bros. games as a reference, the work is already shaping to be its own unique experience.
