OriginThis is the game that truly started game development for me. I always wanted to tell my story of Bomberkid and once I acquired Multimedia Fusion, I got right to work. Since that summer in 2004, Bomberkid has gone through a number of iterations as I learned better programming and game design skills.
At long last, the game is in a form that I feel comfortable moving forward with and creating eight full worlds. |
ReflectionBomberkid has always been my greatest source of game design experience. From incorporating feedback to working under constraints, this project has done wonders for helping me make more games.
I always knew it, but actually having to balance storytelling with gameplay is tough. Accommodating varying skill levels and teaching players how bombs work is quite a challenge. Moving forward, my focus is making sure the gameplay is intuitive to minimize explanation and structure the narrative to keep it engaging. Be sure to check out my blog for the latest developments! |
